CASPER examines the feasibility of establishing a European award or certification system for gender equality in research performing organisations. It involves an in-depth assessment of existing relevant systems, from which we will devise and validate scenarios for potential certification/award systems.
As part of this overall effort, we organise a series of co-creation workshops with stakeholders in different regions of Europe to co-create 4 systems-scenarios (3+ no action scenario) for a gender equality certification or award scheme at the EU level. The purpose of these workshops is to generate ideas and develop the different scenarios, to capture awareness of differences in existing award/certification practices, differences in the adoption level of gender equality policies and cultural specifics.
Overall, 10 workshops will be held with participants from across Europe during January/February 2021. The co-creation workshops will be held in English and use a purely online format. Each workshop is comprised of 2x3 hour sessions, spread out over two consecutive days. For each session we aim at approximately 12 stakeholders to participate. The sessions will be facilitated by members of the CASPER project Consortium.
